BEFORE AND AFTER: MY DINING ROOM-DRAPERIES FINISH THE ROOM!

DON'T GET ME WRONG....LOVED MY DINING ROOM BEFORE. BUT WHEN WE CAME HOME FROM VACATION A FEW WEEKS AGO, I FINALLY REALIZED WHAT THIS SPACE NEEDED.  I CHOSE A FABRIC IVE BEEN OBSESSED WITH FOR YEARS IN MY FAVORITE COLOR GREEN......AND DECIDED TO GO FOR IT!!! DRAPERIES FINALLY!!!

FOR THE PAST 2 YEARS I HAVE BEEN DELIBERATING WHETHER IT WOULD LOOK STRANGE TO HAVE WINDOW TREATMENTS ON JUST THE TWO WINDOWS AND NOT ON THE OTHERS. THRILLED IT WORKED!

BEFORE AND AFTER: BOISSEVAIN AVE DINING ROOM

I'M SUCH A HORRIBLE "BEFORE" PICTURE TAKER-BUT THIS IS ALL I GOT!
THIS HOMEOWNER WAS SICK OF THE PEACH WALLS AND WANTED TO ADD SOME PANELED DRAPERY...........
AS USUAL, ONE THING LEAD TO ANOTHER....... AND BEFORE WE KNEW IT, THE DINING CHAIRS WERE REUPHOLSTERED, AND WE ADDED HOSTESS CHAIRS, AND PAIR OF NEW LAMPS, AND OCCASIONAL TABLE LAMP, AND A NEW HANGING LIGHT FIXTURE. SOON WE WILL HAVE A HERRINGBONE SEAGRASS RUG TO COMPLETE THE LOOK.
LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK!

FRONT DOOR FABULOUS....AGAIN!

THIS RICHMOND, VIRGINIA CUSTOMER NEVER STOPS INSPIRING ME TO THINK IN A NEW WAY. THIS TIME, SHE THOUGHT FOR ME.....AND SHE HIT THE BULL'S EYE!
YOU MAY REMEMBER THE POST BELOW.....

WELL, MY SUPER STYLISH CUSTOMER THOUGHT THIS DOOR COULD BE GREAT ON HER HOUSE TOO.....AND... I THINK SHE NAILED IT........

WE HAD THESE LANTERNS CUSTOM MADE WITH MIRRORS ON THE BACK PLATE. A CONTEMPORARY STYLE USING TRADITIONAL MATERIALS ON AN ADORABLE HOUSE MAKES ME A HAPPY DESIGNER!

WHO KNEW THIS DOOR WOULD BE SUCH A TREAT FROM THE INSIDE TOO?
A SMALL GLIMPSE OF THE FOYER....WAS SUCH A TREAT SEEING THE NEW ROMAN SHADE, LAMP AND CONSOLE! JUST WAIT TILL YOU SEE THE REST OF THIS HOUSE. MORE TO COME!!!

BEFORE AND AFTER: WATERFRONT LIVING ROOM WALL

THIS LIVING ROOM NEEDED AN UPDATED LOOK ON THE LEFT WALL. BEFORE, A LARGE BLACK HUTCH DOMINATED THE WALL. IT WAS DARK AND THERE WAS NO SURFACE AREA FOR LAMPS.
BEFORE
NOW A BEAUTIFUL NEW CABINET ANCHORS THE WALL ALLOWING SPACE FOR A PAIR OF LAMPS. WE ORDERED AN ENORMOUS MIRROR SO IT WOULD REFLECT LIGHT FROM THE WINDOWS OPPOSITE THE WALL.
