BEFORE AND AFTER: GLENCOVE DINING ROOM SNEAK PEAK

STILL WORKING ON THIS GORGEOUS DINING ROOM…...BUT COULD NOT RESIST SHOWING SOME EARLY PICS!
….HERE IS WHERE WE STARTED…..WE GOT THIS BEAUTIFUL LANTERN TO GO OVER THE TABLE AND HAVE AN ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS SIDEBOARD FROM MY CUSTOMER'S COLLECTION THAT WILL ALSO GO IN THE ROOM.
THIS IS THE HOMEOWNER'S EVERYDAY EATING AREA AND THEY HAVE TWO ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE YOUNG KIDS….WE NEED FORGIVING FABRICS……VERY FORGIVING! AND A NOT SO FORMAL LOOKING DINING ROOM…BUT DRESSY ENOUGH FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS.

OUR ANSWER TO FINDING THE MOST FORGIVING FABRIC OPTION?
LAMINATING, OF COURSE!
I THINK THE MATTE SHEEN ADDS TO TREMENDOUSLY TO THE LOOK.
LOVE!
HOSTESS CHAIRS AGAINST THE WALL TO LOOK PRETTY BUT ALSO SERVE AS ADDITIONAL SEATING WHEN NEEDED. AND THE GREEN IS THE PERFECT POP OF COLOR TO COMPLIMENT THE HOMEOWNERS ART COLLECTION THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE.

AND A SNEAK PEAK OF WHATS HAPPENING IN THE FOYER…..

THE BIG PICTURE SOON TO COME!

  1. Hi Lucy, this is a stunning dining room. I love that you have done it so chic and are accommodated kids at the same time. The blue and green are gorgeous against the tan walls and that pillow fabric is divine. Beautiful lantern and mirrors, too.
    All best,
    Phyllis

  6. I agree, the chandelier is stunning! It reminds me of an vintage lantern. This look is really so unique. I am a big fan of home shows, but have never seen a dining room quite like this. Well done! www.jostar.com
