I LOVE MY JOB...MOST OF THE TIME!

MY "PREPPY YOUNG CUSTOMER" JUST RECEIVED THIS CUSTOM OTTOMAN FIRST THING THIS MORNING. HAVEN'T SEEN IT IN HER HOUSE YET AND I'M DYING! BUT SHE SEEMS VERY PLEASED SO I AM PSYCHED!

THEN I WENT TO CHECK ON ANOTHER CUSTOMER'S KITCHEN REMODEL....CABINETS LOOK AMAZING-YAY! GRANITE COMES NEXT WEEK AND THEN WE ARE INSTALLING THE "2 X 6" TILE IN A HARRINGBONE DESIGN...FINISHED PRODUCT PICS SOON TO COME!
THEN I GOT TO COME HOME TO MY OFFICE IN TRANSITION....ITS STILL HIDEOUS BUT AT LEAST I MOVED EVERYTHING FROM THE OLD TINY CAVE OFFICE WITH MY HANDY MAN, WHO IS A SAINT!...AND NOW IM IN THE BIGGER SPACE-WAY WAY WAY BETTER TO WORK IN...ALTHOUGH MY BUILT INS ARENT YET AND THE AESTHETICS ARENT THERE EITHER.....BUT ITS A START....
NEW PILLOWS I JUST PICKED UP FROM THE WORKROOM FOR MY NEW AUSTRALIAN CUSTOMER-LOVE HER STYLE AND CANT WAIT TO GET THESE IN HER LIVING ROOM!
THANK GOD FOR LEGOS.....WHILE I GET STUFF DONE DOWNSTAIRS, KIDS GETTING THEIR OWN PROJECTS FINISHED. FUTURE ARCHITECTS?? HERE'S H'S DREAM HOUSE.
UGH...............
what...that was my guest suite! Do I have to sleep with the legos during my next visit?
ReplyDeleteps: I want that ottoman! Is that leather or fabric?
haha!! dont worry, i will make the "cave guest room" pretty!
Deleteottoman is a synthetic leather...love the material!!! and it can be cleaned with soap!!
These projects look great..... I especially love the cross-hatching on the cabinets and the nailhead trim on the ottoman. Good luck with all those tiny Lego pieces.... the equivalent of "polly pockets" in my world. :)
ReplyDeletethx crissy! and yes, i dont envy the polly pockets mess....a kind blogger gave me a great tip...lay down a tablecloth on the floor and they can unload the small toy mess on top....easy clean up unloading all the tiny pieces back in the bins using the tablecloth...brilliant idea!!
DeleteLove your idea of taping out your built-ins. I'm going to try that!
ReplyDeleteWe have a similar Lego situation going on here too. I lay out an old white tablecloth for them to use, when they are done it makes it easier to funnel the pieces back in the bins.
yay! i love the tablecloth idea-thanks for the great tip!!
