CHRISTMAS PREP: STAGE TWO

TIME FOR THE FUN PART.....THE TREE!!!
AND SOME FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. WE ALWAYS GO GET A CHEAPO TREE....TAYLOR'S HARDWARE HAS THE DEAL OF THE CENTURY...10" TREES FOR $35!! ......OF COURSE WE HAD TO CHOP 2 FEET OFF THE TOP!
I LOVE ME SOME GARLAND! AFTER I STRING THE WHITE AND COLORED
LIGHTS (I LOVE USING BOTH!), I ADD MY RED BEADS AND LIME GREEN
RIBBON....GIVES THE TREE SOME DEFINITION AND COLOR COORDINATES
WITH THE KIDS HOMEMADE ORNAMENTS FROM THE PRE SCHOOL DAYS.

I COULD NOT RESIST BUYING THIS WHILE PICKING UP SOME STUFF
FROM THE HOME DEPOT...WHO KNEW THEY SOLD GINGER BREAD HOUSES?
SOMEONE'S BEEN EATING THE DECOR!! KIDS LOVED MAKING IT.

SIMPLE BOXWOOD WREATH WE MAKE EVERY YEAR AT THE NEIGHBORHOOD
GARDEN CLUB DECEMBER MEETING

YAY OR NAY?? SOME PICTURES HAVE FALLEN DOWN...BUT I LOVE SEEING THE CARDS!

  1. Yay to the cards. That gingerbread house is a riot. Our garden club never did anything as fun as that wreath....I dropped out.
