NO DOUBT THAT WINDOW TREATMENTS ARE A FINISHING TOUCH......YOU MAY THINK YOUR ROOM IS FINISHED....BUT UNTIL YOU HAVE WINDOW TREATMENTS UP, IN MOST CASES, THE ROOM IS INCOMPLETE.
ALWAYS A TREAT WORKING IN THIS BEAUTIFUL HOUSE!!!

Beautiful Lucy! Love your attitude that no room is complete until window treatments are added. I'll be following your blog for more inspiration. Happy Weekend!
Windows are indeed a good accent piece to every house. What makes it more significant is that it still serve as a protection to us against dust, sunlight and wind!
Lovely and just a classic reformation of the windows in the living room, this sounds real fabulous way of designing the interiors. NYC professional organizing services
Hi Lucy - I stumbled on your blog and have been loving looking at your rooms - and I am in Norfolk too! I was wondering where you sourced the sofa for this room? Thank you so much!
So glad you are liking hear rooms on the blog! This sofa is from a line out of hickory,nc that is only sold I the trade and not sold in retailers. Don't hesitate to contact me if you need additional upholstery info. I carry some fantastic lines and have good discounts too!
The lighting on the after photos is better, but I don’t think it is what caused the transformation. Of course, we’re talking about the window treatments here! XD I must say, the dressed up windows made the room much more appealing. It is also a great idea because it would keep the carpet shade from fading quickly. -->Cody
I love how this looks! I'm trying to get into custom window treatments myself. Any tips on where to begin? I don't know what types of fabric would be the best to work with for the project. I think I'm going to stick with lighter colors and pastels so I don't overwhelm my house with super rich colors.
Hi Joan! I love using linens or linen blends for draperies and always have it interlined- preferably with english flannel. Also, I always do a villa pleat since its simple but dressy enough for more formal spaces. Good luck!!
Custom window treatments beautifully frame your windows and rooms. Having the ability to personalize your home in a kind like no other is a great reason to choose custom window treatments.
I love your curtains with the golden detail Lucy! It breaks the monotonous color of your wall and curtain. What makes it better is that it complements well with your pretty windows.
Those are wonderful window treatments! They play an important role in providing cover for some privacy. Did you have it customized 'coz I think they have the same color with your wall.
Wow! Those are really beautiful drapes. You are so right, it is the finishing touch. What a difference.
